The United States Government donated a Boston Whaler boat, 37 feet in length or long, to the Naval Force of El Salvador, to be used in the fight against drug trafficking. The vessel will become part of the Tridente Naval Task Force.
This is the eighth boat that the United States Military Group, stationed at the diplomatic headquarters of the Central American country, has delivered to El Salvador for security tasks and combating crime originating since 2011. The boat is valued at 1.5 million dollars and includes the cost of the unit, as well as training on its use and spare parts.
